Expansion with two additional courts, wind screens, and seating for collegiate competition and local community recreational use.
McDonnell Center:
New floor system, and bleachers to support basketball, volleyball, wrestling, and multipurpose/community events.
Joni Smith Field:
New Press Box, ongoing field maintenance, facility upkeep, and enhancements.
Wrestling Room:
Completion of upgrades and new mats to meet competitive standards.

Nuttall Field
Nuttall Field at Davis & Elkins College is home to Senator soccer and lacrosse and hosts regional championships, youth camps, and community events throughout the year. While the turf replacement has been completed, continued support is needed to help offset project costs, maintain the field, and provide for future facility and turf needs. Your gift helps ensure Nuttall Field remains a safe, high-quality venue for our student-athletes and the broader community.

Katherine S. Thomas Tennis Center
The Katherine S. Thomas Tennis Center serves as a hub for Davis & Elkins College tennis and the local community, providing opportunities for both competitive and recreational play. Planned enhancements, including two additional courts, wind screens, and spectator seating, will increase court availability, improve the efficiency of practices and match play, and enhance the overall experience for student-athletes and visitors alike. These improvements will support expanded tournament opportunities, clinics, and community events while strengthening the Thomas Tennis Center as a premier destination for tennis and pickleball in the region. Joni Smith Field is named in honor of Joni Smith, who proudly served as First Lady of Davis & Elkins College from 2008 to 2014 and again from 2014 to 2016. Her dedication to the College, its students, and the campus community left a lasting impact that continues to be felt today. Naming the softball facility in her honor recognizes her commitment to supporting the mission of Davis & Elkins College and celebrates the legacy of leadership, service, and community that she exemplified.
Wrestling Room
Support Davis & Elkins College in upgrading the wrestling practice room to provide a safer, more competitive environment for our athletes. Planned improvements include new mats to fully cover the practice area, a new subfloor to enhance safety, stability, and durability, fresh drywall and paint for a refreshed appearance, and protective wall padding for increased safety. These upgrades are essential for meeting competitive standards and creating a space where our athletes can excel. With an estimated improvement cost of $175,000, your donation will directly impact our wrestling program’s future. McDonnell Center
